Proposed Board of Appraisal Legislation
The purpose of the proposed legislation is to address issues for compliance and to allow the operations of this 90/10 agency greater flexibility in dealing with operations and financial issues.
• Changes the period of time from 2 years to a minimum of 5 years for reapplication after revocation of a credential. This is cleanup language for federal compliance.
• Introduce a statute of limitations for complaints to be filed within five years of the date of the appraisal, or two years after litigation, whichever is longer. This will help administrative costs, yet should not harm the public as they will have sufficient time to file... READ MORE
