HB2239 Proposed Legislation and adopted amendment

HB2239 was introduced at the Board of Appraisal's request. To continue the legislation process, the Sponsor of the bill requested some changes be made. Please download the document to see the current draft of the proposed legislation. The items that are capitalized indicate new statute additions. If there is a line through the language it indicates statute deletions. Other words that have not been capitalized or stricken reflect current statute which is to remain as is.

On March 6th, 2014 the House approved the bill as shown in the attached two documents.  The first document is the complete bill, and the second document is an amendment to the first.

James B. Heaslet


James is a third generaton native of Arizona and a second generation real property appraiser.  He is a retired United States Marine with over 20 years of service for our country.  He has received numerous medals for Meritorious Service, Navy Achievement and combat action.  He is finishing his undergraduate degree in Business Management with Wayland Baptist University and is scheduled to graduate later this year.  He is an independent fee appraiser and on the VA fee panel list.   

 

Proposed Draft of Rules Revisions

The following draft of the proposed rule revisions do not include R4-46-106 or Article 2.  Please see the second document labeled Article 2, Rules.  This portion of the rules became effective as of November 21, 2013 as allowed under the exemption from the enactment of statute changes that became effective in September, 2013.
